Wildlife in Woolsington
It is estimated that there is a herd of about 150 roedeer which wonder around all parts of the Parish.
You don`t have to try very hard to find them, they can often be seen feeding on open fields. Sadly some are killed on the roads every year so please drive carefully.
Barn Owls hunting for voles. These pictures were taken from Middle Drive in Woolsington looking north towards the Wheatsheaf.
Sadly barn Owls are not as common as they used to be due to loss of natural habitat. But if you are out and about around dusk, then keep your eyes open, you may see one.
